Emily Montero Sager
Hello! I'm Emily, I'm a Florida native and a Florida State University College of Business graduate. After college, my husband and I spent a few years in Chicago to start our careers which were focused in Finance, Accounting and Business Analytics. Through my career I have been incredibly blessed to learn from some of the most talented CFO's in the Chicagoland area for over 5 years. During that time I've honed in on priceless skills in Accounting, Financial Modeling, Financial Systems, and Business Management. I've held many titles in these fields and rose through the ranks of some of the hottest Cannabis start-ups in the nation. This experience provided incredible knowledge and insight into the end-to-end necessities of running a business from LLC creation to IPO's.
I started Veda Concepts in 2021 with the purpose of setting a new standard in Accounting Consulting. During my experience with over 20+ mergers and acquisitions, it broke my heart to see unsuspecting business owners be taken advantage of by pricey private accountants. As someone who comes from a family full of entrepreneurs ranging in industry from Beauty trades to technology to private medical practices, I have the utmost passion and respect for business owners and the daily burden they carry being responsible for everything under the sun.
I wanted to take my skills in Accounting, Finance, HR, Business Management, and Process Automation and formulate a service that could be a one-stop-shop for those who have taken the ultimate risk to make a better life for themselves and their families.
